Delete Your MacroSphere Account
Updated October 3, 2026
You can request deletion without giving a reason. Export any information you want to keep before you delete your account.
Delete in the app
- Open MacroSphere and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete Account & All Data and confirm.
The app initiates deletion of your backend account and related database records, signs you out, and clears its local app data. If an error appears, deletion may not be complete; contact support for help.
Request deletion without the app
Email privacy@macrosphere.app or support@macrosphere.app from the email address associated with your account. Tell us you want to delete your MacroSphere account and associated data. Do not send your password. We verify account ownership before acting. Verified email requests are completed within 30 calendar days.
What deletion covers
Account deletion removes the authentication account and database records linked to it through the account-deletion process. These can include your profile, policy records, synced nutrition and weight records, and associated social records. The in-app flow also clears local app storage. An email request cannot remotely erase information stored on your device: clear app data or remove the app on each device as appropriate.
Uploaded images and files, subscription-provider records and analytics-provider records are separate from the main account database. Do not assume they disappear immediately when you use in-app deletion. Contact us to request deletion of those records as well. Some records may need to be retained for security, accounting, legal obligations or the provider's applicable retention requirements. Copies saved or shared by other people are outside our control.
Subscriptions are managed separately
Deleting your MacroSphere account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account's subscription settings to prevent future renewals. Purchase and transaction records may remain with Apple and RevenueCat as required to operate billing and comply with applicable obligations.
What may remain temporarily
Deleted database information may remain in encrypted rolling backups for up to 7 days. Support and deletion-request correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after resolution unless a longer period is legally required. Certain provider, security and transaction records may have separate retention requirements. Contact privacy@macrosphere.app for questions about a particular record.
Export first
Use Settings → Legal & Data → Export My Data to export supported local records before deletion. This export may not include every record held by cloud services; contact us for an access request covering those records.
Uninstalling and newsletters
Removing the app does not delete your cloud account or cancel subscriptions. Newsletter subscriptions are separate; use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or contact us to remove your address.
